This gorgeous one-of-a-kind crystalline mug was hand-made on my wheel and glazed with my glaze ‘Neptune’, named so because of the planet’s beautiful ethereal lavender colour.
The colours of the crystals, their contrasting halos, and the lavender background are all produced through a magical transformation that only occurs when I fire my electric kiln in reduction when I’m almost done growing my crystals. It’s pretty dang technical but I only do it for the pretty results.
Coffee, tea, whisky or even water taste better drank from a crystalline mug.
